The H-20 economy grade tape is intended for use with boxes up to 30 lbs in weight.  Water activated reinforced paper tape is produced with bi-directional fiberglass reinforcements laminated between two sheets of paper for increased strength.  The tape is coated with a high tack adhesive that is activated through contact with water when run through a dispenser.  With Amazon using kraft colored water activated tapes on the ubiquitous brown boxes, these tapes are experiencing a resurgence in popularity.  With an aesthetic appeal unmatched by polypropylene tapes, these products also have an advantage of tamper evidence. These products create a strong, permanent bond with corrugated surfaces and cannot be removed without visible evidence.  Furthermore, through the fiber reinforcements laced between the top and bottom plys of the tape, this style of carton sealing offers excellent seal protection.  Water activated reinforced paper tapes are an old fashioned packaging product just as relevant in today's market as they were at inception.
