Engineered to provide the highest possible strength at the lowest possible gauge, high-performance stretch films are now a mainstream packaging item.  Through a 9-layer co-extrusion process that marries the properties of differing resin structures, high-performance stretch films allow customers to reduce the gauge of their conventional stretch film products by as much as 20% without sacrificing strength.  Additionally, due to reduction in gauge, manufacturers are able to fit more linear feet of stretch film onto each roll, thus limiting machine changeover that is both time consuming and costly for plants.
